Kirby Gamel is an Austin-based cinematographer focused on corporate and documentary production.

Kirby has shot 5 episodes of ‘People’s Party with Talib Kweli’, an episode of ‘FRESH PAIR’, an episode of Bloomberg’s Hello World as well as filmed for major corporations including Google, Amazon, Salesforce, JP Morgan Chase, and Uber Freight. His lens has framed notable figures including Meryl Streep, Luke Wilson, Robert De Niro, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Just Blaze, and The Undertaker.

Each year Kirby DP’s a couple of narrative projects with past work premiering at Austin Film Festival. In 2023, Kirby finished shooting a feature film which will soon begin its festival run.

In addition to his DP work, Kirby often works as gaffer. He’s lit for companies such as Samsung, Skillshare, Giddy, and Integrative Nutrition.
